Penguins fans. Do you have a back-up team you're rooting for?

OK, you seem to think you are the only team to ever be eliminated.

1. It is a well established fact that Habs fans are obnoxious.

2. "Crybaby Crosby" and "Cindy Crosby" have been around way longer than this playoffs. Maybe they would go away if Crosby would man up, stop diving, and stop whining.

3. You're not a true hockey fan if you don't watch the playoffs, even if your team is not in it. You don't need a team to root for, just enjoy the hockey.

4. Golf jokes are par for the course (pun intended) when a team gets knocked out. Maybe the Pens can come to Colorado so Matty D can own Sidney for 18 holes.

I'm a Pens fan... but I think you should relax a little. People will be people, and make their negative comments or jokes (which aren't a bad thing, if they're done in good fun!) no matter what you say. You just have to get a thicker skin and deal with it.

I'll probably root for the Habs in the East. If they go on to win the Cup, it just shows that the Pens were beat by the best team. Also, I'd like to see the tradition of the Habs winning a Cup every decade kept alive and I'd be happy for Canada to have won a Cup again. I haven't quite decided between the Sharks or Hawks in the West. I'm leaning towards the Hawks right now.

Sadly the Habs have robbed the playoffs of a quality Stanley Cup matchup by knocking out the only teams who could trouble the west counterparts - their goalie won't stay hot enough to steal two more series. The Western Conference Final may aswell be for the Cup because the Stanley Cup series will be a walk in the park comparatively.

I'm not really a fan of any of the remaining teams, really don't want to see the Habs or Bruins winning anything. I suppose I'd like to see the Hawks beat the Flyers in the Stanley Cup.

You have to take the crap when your team loses especially when it was more or less unexpected. ALL the teams fans have had to take it. You got bashed before you lost and now you will get bashed for a few days. Man up. It's part of this forum. Losing is a part of life. It's just a game.

I am sorry for the Pens fans that their team lost. I feel your pain. I was rooting for it to happen, though. Just like everyone seemed to want the Wings to lose because they are perennial winners, lots of people wanted the Penguins to lose because they have been winners and because they get tired of Sid the Kid being crammed down their throats. You won't want to see it from anyone else's side. At least not now.

I'm now rooting for the Blackhawks, and if they get out then I'll resort to the Bruins, but I really want the Blackhawks to win the cup this year, yes and the Habs are annoying because they think they can suck all season and now all of sudden be good and mess up the playoffs

Us Pens fans have been able to dish it out for the better part of two years...you have to expect those who have had to take it for that long to retaliate now...if you cant handle it then sign off of yahoo and go read a book.......

and why wouldnt you want the team that eliminated you to go and win the cup, wouldnt it help you sleep at night if your team lost to the eventually champions like 3 other teams?

Montreal gained my respect. No idea why they couldnt put it together during the regular season but they are on a tear now.

That was hard to watch down 4-0, then 4-2. I was hoping we had a game going.

Anyone who is making fun of Sidney Crosby is JEALOUS!

I'm a Leafs fan, so I really want the Habs to go down! I'm cheering for Boston now, but I don't jump from team to team. There's a few players I like that play for Boston. Boston's not my fav., but I'd be sweet to see them get the Cup.

Cooldude89. You reap what you sew. Last year you all talked hardcore **** on the Red Wings. 2 Years before that, even after you lost the Stanley Cup Final Penguins fans showed up to our parade talking ****. They didn't last long either. So, as far as others talking **** about Pittsburgh, not only is it deserved but it's fair. I hope Sindy knows diving won't help him on the golf course!

Hem...somehow I feel like you're more a sore loser than Habs fan are sore winners (I'm a Habs fan and I respect the Pens, as I respected the Caps). But to make you happy, lemme just say this:

- Cindy Crosbaby had what, 2 points in the whole series?

- Like you, I didn't want your team to win. But hey, we won, you lost, life goes on.

- Maybe Cindy should try to play baseball. His only goal would have been a single.

- Enjoy the golf season!
