why why why?!?!? best answer 10 points =D?
Okay, first of all... i straighten my hair every 2 days, it used to be hella curly but now its bumpy on the top and straight on the ends, and it bothers me so thats why i have to straighten it every 2 day. Anyways, whenever im straightening it my hair starts to smell.... bad, like weed or something ( NOOO i dont smoke, do drugs, or drink.. just to let you know). Also, there was like a certain week i didn't straighten it, but my hair still smelled like... like... flat iron, it didnt have a shamppo smell ( i use john frieda shampoo btw & ive tried many shampoos, but my hair still smells like flat iron) SO WHAT SHOULD I DO TO MAKE THAT SMELL GO AWAY?!?!? HOW DO I GET MY BEAUTIFUL CURLY HAIR BACK?!?!? PLZ PLZ PLZ HELP ME!!! (sorry it was so long)

You have permanently damaged your natural hair structure. The smell will go away with time and frequent washing. While you will never regain your natural curl pattern 100%, you can slightly recover it by using light protein treatments and giving it a lot of moisture through conditioning. Take a break from the heat for 4-6 weeks to give time for your hair to recover. It is possible that some curls will come back, but it doesn't mean that any damage was done.
Once your hair starts to feel close to normal and you decide to return to the flat iron (which is not advised if you want your hair healthy and curly), please be sure to use a heat protectant AND to lower your temp settings on your flat iron to avoid further damaging your hair. Signs of heat damaged hair are a lot of breakage, splits, lack of reversion and a thinning appearance overall. If you want your natural curls back for good, you will need to cut off the damaged ends and grow it back out again.

If it smells that bad it means you're damaging your hair- I would recommend buying some heat protectant (which you can get from any supermarket or chemist) which you just spray onto your hair before you straighten it. I use it and it helps alot with the smell and my hair is in much better condition- it also ensures it doesn't frizz. ;D
Also, if you say ur curls have started to loosen then it means that you straightening it a bit too much (maybe cut down to 2 times a week) and it could also be that the dead ends of your hair are weighing it down- if you get them trimmed off your curls will become more bouncy and curly :) I know this because whenever my sister goes in for a cut- once its done- her curls have so much more oomph :D
hope this helps >__<
good luck!

Yeah you do have heat damage
get shampoo for heat damaged hair , like that other answer says
I would also suggest that you stop straightening your hair for a while
to let the shampoo work
If you feel that you can't go without straightening your hair
then you should also invest in shampoo for straightening hair
i think John Frieda does shampoo like that and brush your hair
for about 5 mins with a comb when it's wet
this will make it straighter
and wash your hair every day
oh and when you start to straighten your hair again
use heat protector

It's very damaged.
- Get any split ends cut off.
- Find a moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. Infusium (repair)ologie is great.
- Deep condition your hair once per week. Check out Ojon Restorative Treatment, Garnier Fructis, or Neutrogena Triple Moisture.
- When you get out of the shower, finger comb your hair and use a curl cream. Fekkai is wonderful. It brings out curl, and adds shine without making your hair crunchy.
- For now let your hair air dry. After is has dried use a light hairspray. Garnier Fructis is nice. (After your hair has repaired itself use a diffuser to blow dry your hair. I would wait about 6 weeks before using heat. Be sure to use a heat protectant.)
Good luck :)

You really need to start using a thermal heat protecting spray on your hair before straightening it Like (Rusk, Chi, It's a 10). Then maybe turn the temp. of the straightener down.

If you have course(sp) hair and - well, most are at least semi-strait,.?! They do not take to straitening very well,..
If you hair be glossy,..use only warm hot comb,.then,.less,..Use BIG round curlers,.Plan for
waves,..Have'nt you been watching the styles,.? Women have for while been doing the WAVE,..
Big swirrls - and, or waves,..Soooo, go with wavy hair,..and swirrls,..Use oils that helps to bring
on gloss,.
The every two days straitening thing be a NO-NO,.okay,.?
