    Many places.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.

Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made...... The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

    John 1:1-3,14

"He (Christ) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him (Christ) all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross."

Many professing christians don't really understand this but the answer is found in the bible so let's start in Genesis at the beginning of creation. (Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.") You must read this verse very very carefully or you will read over it and not understand. Why did God say let US make man in OUR image and OUR likeness ? These are three plural words. So what does this mean ? Quite simply that there were two Gods present at the time of creation. God the Father and one other God. Next go to the book of John and it becomes much clearer. (John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.) Here we see that the other God that was with God the Father was the word which created all things. Then finally we see that the word became flesh.

(John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.) Yes, the word became Christ our savior.

Yes, from the beginning there were two different distinct God beings.

He was both. In the flesh He was the only begotten Son of God. The Lamb of God. A man.

However, there is an overwhelming amount of scripture saying that He was God also.

Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Councilor, Everlasting Father, Almighty God, Prince of Peace.

Bottom line: The love, grace and salvation of God is come to the world in The Name and Person of Jesus Christ, not the titles of The Trinity.

It is very heartening to see that so many here in R&S have the knowledge of who Jesus is ....The Psalmist says in --Ps 49: 15 " God will redeem my life from the grave; He will surely take me to Himself" ......that is who and what the Messiah is all about .....Jesus did not come out and say He was God because the disciples would not have understood but on the contrary would have thought of Him as mad and would have runaway from Him .....Jesus , the Wisdom of God knew that they were babes and and have to be fed with milk and not meat in the beginning ...... only with the help of the Holy Spirit ,understanding would dawn on men to the true nature and purpose of God becoming the man Jesus

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:1

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us full of grace and glory as of the only begotten of the Father. John 1:14

For unto us a child is born, and his name is called, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Almighty God, Everlasting Father.... Isaiah 9:6

But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah,

From you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel,

His goings forth are from long ago,

From the days of eternity. Micah 5:2 NASB

Therefore God hath highly exalted him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHOULD BOW, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,

and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God he Father. Philippians 2:9-11

    Colossians 1:15-18 (GOD’S WORD Translation)

15He is the image of the invisible God,

    the firstborn of all creation.

16He created all things in heaven and on earth,

    visible and invisible.

Whether they are kings or lords,

    rulers or powers—

everything has been created through him and for him.

    17He existed before everything

    and holds everything together.

18He is also the head of the church, which is his body.

    He is the beginning,

the first to come back to life

so that he would have first place in everything.

    See Revelation 1 and 4:11, 5:11.

In the KJV of the bible the term godhead is mentioned 3 times.

    God head+++ please see++ Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20 and Collosians 2:9.

The fullness of the godhead dwelleth in Him..

In Revelations Jesus Christ is spoken of as the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,

In the Hebrew the term El Eloheim being a plural like term for God Almighty.

This does not mean that there is more than one God but God in distinct, facets. for example. The term Spirit, also noted in the old testament is a facet of teh Almighty One yet he differs like the holy spirit in the new testament.

The apostles greeted Jesus Christ, one saying, my Lord and my God...

Thou art the Christ, son of the Living God.

Again Jesus Christ said, I and the Father are ONe.

Mohammed of the Koran did not and could not be identified as Messiah nor the Christ, Annointed One of God. He came long after Jesus Christ. He is not prophesised about in the bible except for his descendants and lineage of Ishmeal/ Perhaps Mohammed wanted to be like Jesus Christ and was not accurately told of the ministry and life of Jesus Christ/Yahshua.

Praise Our God Almighty and Jesus Christ as our mediator and redeemor.

In keeping the law and commandments, Jesus /yahshua honors his heavenly Father.

John 10:30 - The Father and I are one.

But, if we keep reading John 10 we can see that the Lord Yeshua/Jesus is saying that those who are commissioned by the living God as leaders are also called 'gods' (verse 34).

I believe that Yeshua is the Son and that the living God is the Father . . .

But that the Son's character and being are one in the same as the Father. In such great unity that they are sometimes even in Scripture spliced together.

I do not believe that Mary is the mother of God, but the mother of His Son.

Yeshua says; 'I am the Son of God' in verse 36. In verse 37 He also says Don't believe me unless I carry out my Father's work.

Verse 38 goes on to say; "But if I do his work, believe in what I have done, even if you don't believe me. Then you will realize that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father."

John 1:1 states; "In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God."

I think that coupled with the verses of John 10 we can see that Yeshua is in deed the Word of God, the image of God and the Son of God.

When John says that Yeshua 'is' God, I think it is a turn of a phrase that means that Yeshua follows the living God with such exact obedience that the Father's glory is seen in Him and They are [seen] as One.

    Be Blessed:-)

    The whole history is his-story...

There is even a song that has a list of Bible Books, and what each one tells us about Jesus, the Messiah, Savior of the World. If I can find a link to it, I will post it.

Also remember...in the book of Esther..."God" is not mentioned. His workings are evident in the book, but no overt mention of God. Just a random factoid you might be interested in.

couldn't find the song...a list is on the posting below. This may not be the answer you were looking for, but it is interesting and quite detailed.

There are two mentions: In John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God Later in the Chapter, the Word is equated with Jesus.

In John 20, Thomas addresses Jesus as "My Lord and My God". The Arian heresy and more recently the JWs try to translate this phrase differently from John's Greek. However, Thomas would have said this in Aramaic where there is no scope for doubt. If Jesus was not God, he would have rebuked Thomas for blasphemy.
