Please help me "My Adopted Egyptian family"...Can someone please tell me what breed of dog this is (جريفون)?

Question

It translates to "Grapefruit Dog, Loulou, Lulu, Gree Foan, Green Phone". I'm getting one today and I would love to know more about the breed so I may better care for it.

My husband said it is a "Griffon";however, I can't find any information about any "type" of Griffon dog that stays small and is completely white.

It does say 'griffon' in Arabic. 

I wonder if it's a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen.

I am not professional in dogs but i made i researched for you.
The only dog i found: Griffon, white and small is "Petit Basset Griffon VendÃ©en"

Surely the breeder knows what sort of dog it is, and can tell you about the breed characteristics? If not, I'd question whether the breeder is a good one!
