I love when I come home to a candlelit room, and picnic dinner, some wine, and massage oil sitting by the bed. For me, that's sensual and romantic, and thoughtful. I'm surprised you said your lady didn't enjoy the rose petals scenario too much, I think that still pretty sweet and thoughtful - and THATS what really matters. The other really neat thing my BF and I did, was a B & W photo shoot, you want to make her feel totally special and sexy and beautiful, get her to get into some poses, and most cameras even automatic ones have a black and white setting, dim the lights or have candle light and take some sexy shots of her. Just an idea that I liked.
