Blood in urine? No other significant symptoms? HELP!?
Recently I've been having blood on and off in my urine for a couple years now, with no other symptoms. I put it off in my mind has just irritation and drank some cranberry juice for it.
I finally was able to get the nerve to go the doctor. She tested my urine and said there was a big trace amount of microscopic blood in there and ruled it has a UTI and gave me some antibiotics.
I'm done with my antibiotics, but I'm still having some dark urine, especially in the mornings but then it will go away throughout the day.
The only other symptoms I'm really having is a very faint dull pain in the area where my right kidney is, but it's not even that much to notice and it goes away fairly quickly. Also, when I pee there is a strange feeling of pressure and I can almost feel the urine coming down through my urethra before it gets out of my body and it comes with a slight stinging sensation, but it's not anything drastic. Also, sometimes when there's no visible blood in my urine, it looks cloudy and milky.
My questions are: Could this be a kidney stone even without the really bad pain that's usually associated with them? Could it still be a UTI and I just need more medication? Do UTIs last a long time? Can kidney stones last a long time and still not be passed? I'm really worried that I might have kidney or bladder cancer but I'm only 19 years old and I'm not a smoker.
Any information would be amazing. Thanks!

I have kidney stones currently! I woke up in the middle of the night about a month ago and when I urinated, my urethra was sort of burning a bit and it just felt really weird/somewhat painful but not yet agonizing. Any way, it got a lot worse and I had to go to the ER where they did some X-rays and saw stones in both of my kidneys. The best thing you can do when you start developing kidney stones is drink a lot more water. Its probably not bladder cancer so I wouldn't worry about that. I would go to the doctor though and discuss what is going on. Your description sounds to me like it could be some kind of kidney stone or other obstruction. I'm not a doctor though. Good luck

I had a similar problem a few years ago and i also kept putting it off. That was a huge mistake !!
Turned out to be bladder cancer and i was only 29. You need to go to a good urologist he/she can diagnosis you. A primary doctor isn't capable of this. It could be other less serious things like cystitis, kidney stone or some sort of infection. So go and get it checked out, the longer you wait the worse it will get.

Blood in urine (clinical time period "hematuria") has a sort of motives: urinary tract contamination, urinary tract stones, malignancy, bleeding disease, autoimmune illnesses, prostate disorder and so forth. Intake of particular meals (reminiscent of beets) can impart a purple colour to the urine; likewise particular drugs like Rifampicin too can provide a reddish tinge to urine. In such circumstances, that is referred to as fake hematuria, as blood isn't honestly being handed out with urine, however a particular coloring agent that used to be taken. It is high-quality to look forward to the health care professional's evaluation in conjunction with a few lab assessments reminiscent of a urine evaluation to determine what is inflicting the difficulty.

If it isn't a UTI, it could be kidney stones.
Go get an X-ray to be sure or contact your doctor.
