I've never won one. I also get violations for the stupidest reasons ever. My last account has been permanently suspended, so I can't quote them.
But there was one question in the Comics & Animation section asking: "How awesome is Naruto?"
My user name was Captain Awesome, so I posted something like: "It earns my approval of awesomeness, squire!"
I got reported and sent a notice of violation for something like abuse, or flaming?
I also posted a question asking for recommendations for good zombie films, nothing more than that.
A few months later I receive another notice of a violation for something like hate speech.
Needless to say, I appealed against both and lost... I was pretty annoyed over it, but what can you do, eh?

You got reported over that answer? Okay... now I guess I should be surprised I've only once had one answer of mine reported (which I didn't think of appealing... I guess I should have).
The only other violation I have ever gotten was a question I asked and I lost the appeal. Apparently guys aren't supposed to ask if they're pregnant (and yes, I am pregnant, and yes, I stated in the question I'm trans).

i appeal every single violation i receive... more than 75% of the time i win my appeal...
when i don't is the time i get mad... ;-)
if you do not appeal violations that you know are not against community policy the people reporting keep the same influance and can go on violating people willy nilly...
