As a person who has achieved lucid dreaming/OBE's....?
Do you consider yourself as a person different from the average human being?
I mean, do you consider yourself to be on a higher level of intellectuality? (if that makes any sense?)
I remember reading an article before, about a phantom like creature that appears on the entrance, and shows itself only to those who have achieved something beyond the normal world. (I forgot what it is called, but it's something related to astral projection).
Not trying to prove anything here, just curious.

You mean a Guardian of the Threshold (eg. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guardian_of_the_Thres... ).
Lucidity doesn't seem boosting in IQ terms, but projection is often deeply inspirational and enriching. To me it's a voyage to India or China, only more so.

I'm a lucid dreamer, but that's not the same thing as having an out-of-body experience. Lucid dreaming means that you are aware that you are dreaming and that what you are experiencing is not real. It allows you to control and manipulate the dream, which is very empowering. It means that you rarely have nightmares because you are in control of all or some portion of the dream. I'm more intelligent than the average person, but I wouldn't consider myself an intellectual.

No. I don't. I never saw any phantom creature when I went wandering either, but I have read about people who have seen creatures. It's probably their brain trying to tell them that this shouldn't be possible.
