Hi, I'm trying to create a flash game. I'm very new at this, but how do I create a movement for an object when I've applied stop to a frame? (Let's say perhaps an npc blinking while waiting for a button to be pressed).

I'm using actionscript 3.

I remember seeing it on t.v.. maybe almost 3 years ago.

Cold blue hues, the band is playing indoors, they're playing rock, maybe metal.

They're in a closed area, and there are wolves surrounding them.

I've been trying to find it, but I've had no luck.

Can anybody help?

Yesterday,

I spent hours upon hours creating a family and a house.

I saved it a couple of times, but then, the last time I was going to save it,

it took 10 minutes, and it still wasn't done....

so I had to start task manager to forcefully shut down the game..

I opened it....

The Ramirez family was there, my saved game gone...

I go to my documents folder>EAgames>thesims3>save

A backup file of my game is there...

is there anyway I could get my game back?

Some people have mentioned that they find my writing hard to read at times, and I think so too...

So.. what are the guidelines when writing a novel/story? (not for manuscript)

Like during conversations, scene breaks, etc. etc.?

I have just recently read an article about the attitude of Japanese people towards

Westerners, and I am partially confused about it.

As a part of a school project, I am just curious about this being Filipino myself.

Do you consider yourself as a person different from the average human being?

I mean, do you consider yourself to be on a higher level of intellectuality? (if that makes any sense?)

I remember reading an article before, about a phantom like creature that appears on the entrance, and shows itself only to those who have achieved something beyond the normal world. (I forgot what it is called, but it's something related to astral projection).

Not trying to prove anything here, just curious.

Are lucid dreams usually fast paced?

I remember my lucid dreams quite well, and things move quite quickly, the speed is fast, but I would still catch up on what was happening.

Also, the very first time WILD worked for me, I met these two people in my dream and they said they were "expert lucid dreamers" and then they called me a newbie. They are only dream characters right? And for sure, it's not possible for people to truly connect from one dream to another right?

My last lucid dream, two of the inhabitants in my dream were quite aware that they were only dream characters, and one of them lectured me about lucid dreaming; he was an elephant O_O

I'm currently writing a novel, as a way to inspire myself, and as a practice, but I'm not planning on publishing it. Since it really is my first work, I noticed way too much cliches and I'm only in elementary, so I think it would be great having more experience doing this.

How old were you when you wrote your very first novel? What inspired you to do it?

How did things turn out? Did you try to get it published?

I wrote this short story last year in school and I'm wondering if you think that I have the potential to be a good writer?

-Imagine you're walking down the street with friends and find an odd abandoned car and you can't believe what's inside.........

We waited for the rain to stop up until midnight had come, it was already dark when when we reached a familiar street. There were no people around, just the lights flickering on and off and the dark alleys that frightened me in thought that there was something lurking in the darkness. As we walked in the moonlight we went past an old abandoned car. It was dirty, spider webs and all. The tires were flat and the side mirrors were smashed and in the corner of my eye I saw something horrid. Inside the car was a guy in white caressing a girl in his arms, but something wasn't normal; blood ran through the girl's neck as the guy punctured his sharp fangs against it. It caught its blood red eyes at me and in surprise, I jumped in fear as it opened the car door leaving the girl behind. Me and my friends were terrified. I did not know what to do and what was going to happen. It went closer towards me as I froze, but my friends still managed to hide behind one of the dumpsters on the dark sidewalk. I was in terrible fear as a flash of light struck my eyes and blinded me. As I opened my eyes again, there was somebody in front of me; black hair and a gray vest. He was holding a gun with a chain connected to his sleeves, he held it up high to the vampire whose teeth were stained red. The vampire smirked as he attacked. I thought it was too late, but the guy in front of me pulled the trigger as the vampire disintegrated into the air, leaving nothing. The person looked at me with piercing eyes and carried the girl in the car earlier and left. I wanted to thank him, but all was too shocking for me to even move my lips. My friends and I got home, wishing it all to be a dream.

I just want some criticism with my writing and I'm only 13.......

Hahaha! I think I was watching too much Vampire Knight during the time that I wrote this!

I had a dream last night

I was in a cable car

and I was with my mom and her friend then

I said, this might be a dream

then I looked at my hands and they were all blurry and such

then I said "Yes this is a dream, it wouldn't matter whatever I do here" So I opened the cable car door and climbed up the roof of it

then I had another dream.................

but I didn't have control anymore.............

Was it a lucid dream?
