Sims 3, running back up files?
Yesterday,
I spent hours upon hours creating a family and a house.
I saved it a couple of times, but then, the last time I was going to save it,
it took 10 minutes, and it still wasn't done....
so I had to start task manager to forcefully shut down the game..
I opened it....
The Ramirez family was there, my saved game gone...
I go to my documents folder>EAgames>thesims3>save
A backup file of my game is there...
is there anyway I could get my game back?

I dunno how to run the file..

Sure, remove the original file and rename the backup. Just delete the ".backup" and it should work fine. It's not guaranteed that it was saved where you were when the original file crashed, but you can try it.
