I understand your problem well enough. I always end up with writer's block. No matter the ideas and dialogue that run through my mind, whenever I open Word I can never remember or think of a way to type it out.

What I tend to do, is to write little short stories for each character. Just think up a small challenge they overcame or fun adventure they took and just type it all out. Then reference it in the final project.

Nothing has to be polished just yet, remember that. You don't need to stress yourself with trying to find the right descriptive words to explain a scene. Just type it out rather bluntly. The idea will be on a page to remember for later, and then you can go about smoothing the edges. Think of it as a small messy clay pot. Once the shape is set, all you need to do it cut and form it into a completed piece.

For inspiration I find it easier to watch music videos (they're like mini movies) or listen to a type of music that fits the story. Read poems or go outside and listen to the trees breathe. Something will come up, I assure you.

    Good luck!

I can't imagine having writer's block. I have sat down and not written anything because I just wasn't inspired to me that isn't a block it is my mind occupied with too much other stuff. But then all of a sudden (usually after I read something from someone else) I decide I can do it better and not just better but I can do it different and I'm off. I read a story about a succubus and my brother said what about a fallen angel so I did three short stories about fallen angels in different parts of the country.

--- I read a story about a witch and decided I wanted to write about a witch so I made my the oldest one in the known and unknown universe.

--- I read a story about a highlander so I wrote a story about an Octoroon woman who gets alot of money only if she will live as a white woman in England as opposed to where she was born in America.

--- I read a cop drama so I wrote a romantic mystery. I watched Stargate Atlantis so I wrote my own episode so to speak. I heard a phrase about a man loving a woman so much he'd give her his rib so I wrote a short story about the woman literally taking the rib out of his body when he decides he wants a divorce years later.

I have all types of ideas, some will die a slow and painful death others will combine with some exciting things in my head until there is a completed manuscript. Some will get published others well... I mean of my last six attempts only two were published. I'm hoping my record will get better. Point is have some fun with it. Journal write and write articles, but your efforts into getting 'A's' on school papers, the creative stuff is always inside of you and it will come out.

Hey there, I can sympathize with you; it is occurred to me. One approach that can be just right for you is that this: Make your self a record of five to ten extraordinary phrases (does not subject which of them you employ) Then take a minute and begin writing sentences or terms that comprise as many of those phrases as you'll. Keep on writing with out pondering an excessive amount of approximately it although what you write turns out fairly foolish - it isn't being judged, however it's only to get your brain again in apparatus. Hopefully, the phrases will drift extra with ease for you once more whilst you get again to something it used to be that stopped you within the first position. Writing is a laugh so have a few with it! Relax and notice if you'll write from a "circulate of awareness. I've been identified to put in writing volumes like that. Write your prose in conversational speech - do not edit as you pass; depart the modifying for later. If you'll, with out getting your self in a clutter, discover out from in which you left off your writing what it used to be (the concept or concept) that halted you, then use that concept or a phrase describing it in with one of the crucial different phrases. You'd be amazed at what you'll gain knowledge of approximately your self even as studying find out how to holiday the creator's block. Above all recall that you've got a VOICE and also you experience utilizing it. Goof Luck

You've got to force whatever you are trying to write. I just had the worst writer's block a while ago and the onl thing that worked was forcing it. It doesn't have to be good, you just have to get it written. Instead of stressing about some eloquent way to say someone crosses a street, simply say "they crossed the street" or whatever. You're writing will be terrible, but once it's out, give it a day or two and you'll start thinking of ways to polish up what you've got.

And listen to classical music. It helps.
