Should I cut my hair?

That'd be nice if you donated it. You can get a really cute shorter style. Shorter hair is also easier to work with. You could tell your stylist you want to donate to locks of love or some other wig foundation and she could probably show you how much would be cut off.

You should keep it. Most hair that is donated to Locks of Love is either discarded as unsuitable (though they will never tell you that when they are cutting, even though they know it's going to be thrown out) or it is sold for extensions to support the operation. They make fewer than 100 wigs each year, and none of them go to children with cancer.

Learn to put it up. There are loads of ways you can do your hair. ✂

yeah i would cut it. a) your donating. always good. but fyi the people i have known with cancer dont get real hair wigs. too hard to take care of. b)MY long brown hair is a pain. c) i think some times too long hair looks a little trashy. im cutting mine

If you want to cut it, then go for it, it'll grow back eventually anyway. Just don't go and do one of those ridiculous scene haircuts.

i wouldn't go that drastic at first.

you should go maybe 1 or 2 inches off at first, to see how you like it.

and if you want it shorter, keep going.

but i just don't want you to regret cutting all your hair off.
