How do I get rid of frizz?

My hair is really frizzy from straightening it too much. Is there a product that really works to help me get rid of the frizz? It's bugging me. :0

Many shampoos/conditioners/products targeted towards "frizz control" contain silicones to control the frizz (anything ending in -one or -ane will fall into this category). This is usually just a temporary fix and can actually dry out your hair and build up, leading to more frizz. Biosilk and other serums ("it's a 10" leave-in also falls into this category)will help to control frizz, but contain alcohol, which is drying. Products which contain amino acids/protein actually work better to control frizz, so a good conditioner like Matrix conditioning balm (contains hydrolyzed keratin and no silicones) or Joico's Kpak shampoo, conditioner, and reconstructor can help. In the end, it will depend on the texture and condition of your hair as well as what chemical treatments (if any) and styling tools you use to determine which products will work best for your hair.

I have a problem with frizz too. I use Aussie shampoo and Aussie 3 Minute Miracle on my hair. I dry it on warm. Then every morning I spend about 45 minutes straightening it and while I straighten it I srpay a thermal protector on my hair that also reduces frizz. So it takes a lot of patience but I think it's worth it.

Keep your hair well conditioned with a rich moisturizing product. The hairstyle is also important. If your hair is very frizzy you don't want too many layers. Have a few longish ones that will allow your hair to flow. Always use a diffuser when blow-drying which will help control the frizz but will not remove all the body.

We suggest John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum, which smoothes texture and adds great shine to frizzy, dry hair. It works brilliantly when used with the other John Frieda Frizz-Ease products, but can also be used alone to successfully control frizz.

It has UV filters to protect your hair condition and hair color against the damaging effects of UV rays. It also comes in 3 varieties: lite for thin/fine hair, original or extra-strength for coarse hair.

For the frizz, use weekly hair masks with banana or avocado or olive oil and look online for something called Pro Natural’s argan oil, that one is for after a shower and it's silicone free so it works better than others. It's not greasy or anything, it makes it softer and smoother and it's also a heat protectant.

Oh dear, I have the same problem :\

Although deep conditioning all the time helps and if you straighten small peices and go slow it looks better ( always use heat protect but)

When the hairdresser did mine it was not frizzy at all and then when I try I just cant get it the same.

Frizz serum always works a bit :)

    Hope I helped ;D

Try some mouse (ok I can't spell it heehee) by Tresemè.

It's supposed to be really affective.

Also if there is a Boots store near-by, they sell a great range of anti-frizz hair products

I don't straighten my hair, but I used to have really frizzy hair. I tried about 10 different conditioners, serums, ect, before one day I skipped the conditioner & noticed that my hair was frizz-free. Now I only use Freeman Papaya & Mango Moisture 3 Minute Conditioner about once every 3 weeks to keep it healthy. Hope it helps!

A hot oil treatment will help. If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply in your area, they will be able to help you. Go to their website first to get reviews on products people have used. Also, use a silicon based leave in product in your hair before straightening. That is supposed to cut down on damaging affects heat has on hair.

a good shampoo and conditioner is good to settle your frizz, it will say it on the bottle. your hair is probley frizzy because you have like damaged the ends and that from straightening so get a really good heat protecter before you straighten, i use dove. drying your hair after washing it with a hair dryer will leave your hair less frizzy in the morning. but yeah get a good heat protector, should fix your problem, hope this helps x

chi silk infusion helps a LOT :)

i have been using biosilk for a while and that makes my hair so soft and non frizzy.

you can purchase chi silk infusion at tj maxx. rite aid or target.

it is pretty pricy but it's worth it :)

im not sure where you can buy biosilk though.

they used to sell it at costco but not anymore.

i suggest not getting herbal essence products that helps to ease frizz because i've tried it and it didnt do anything for my hair.

im not sure if it's just my hair though im pretty sure it isnt because it didnt do anything for my friends either.

you can also search on youtube for reviews on frizz easing products so you'll know which ones right for you:)

    HOPE I HELPED ;D
