How long does it take to drive (by car) from Brussels, Belgium to Berlin (post code 10115, the Mitte area)?

Are there any tolls along the autobahn? And what are the legal speed limits (minimum and maximum)?

Update:

I was asking about TOLL roads ("payage" in France, where you have to pay to use a portion of the highway). Are there any on the autobahn between Brussels & Berlin?

(Trolls can be found for free...apparently...)

According to Google maps 7 hours and two minutes

Trolls do not exist in real life fortunately.:)

The general minimum speed on any German Autobahn is 80 km/h that means your car or bike needs to be able to go faster technically, and if the possibility is given you need to go that fast.

The maximum speed limit will be signed out if there is no sign you are free to go as fast as you and your car can.

    Have a good trip

EDIT I ll add links with pictures of the signs

EDIT sory for wrong reading lol; no tolls on German Autobahn until now everything is still free, only trucks have to pay tolls. They are discussing a toll for everybody but nothing is yet decided and the lobby against a toll is strong so let's hope it will stay like it is.

Brussels may be the capital of Belgium and could be the primary seat of the Belgian Royal Family and, also the capital of the European Union and if you wish to know after that it this is the place hotelbye . Brussels is a remarkably little, easy-going, and human-sized city for several their importance. Unlike anthers town making use of their hordes of tourists, Brussels is Belgium's principal economic and educational heart, which gives the city a far more workaday experience than different towns. Here, in Brussels, if you'd decide to go to, you will receive a appropriate feel for Belgian life, specially its wonderful restaurant and café culture. While Brussels might not have the star attractions of other Belgian towns, the capital has more than enough to help keep visitors occupied for a day or two with a clutch of world-class museums and artwork galleries, as well as quirkier views such as the Atomium, and some wonderful remnants of old structure in the previous community quarter.

Yes you can drive the car as the computer at DVLA will have been updated for your vehicle. However, I believe it may still be illegal to drive without displaying a valid tax disc although it's unlikely you would be charged for the offence.

You can avoid toll roads if you drive north to thr Netherlands, and then head east into Germany. German Autobahns are toll-free for private cars; only trucks have to pay toll. You won't even hit France.

The LEGAL speed limits vary, and the signs will tell you. If there is no speed limit announced, it is 110 km/h in Belgium and the Netherlands (upper speed limit); in Germany, when there is nothing else announced, the RECOMMENDED speed is 130 km/h. You can drive faster where allowed, but German highway police is strong on tailgating, so keep your distance. They have cars faster than yours, and if you see the sign "POLIZEI - FOLGEN" do what it says: Follow, and stop BEHIND them. They're usually friendly, but even if you don't see them, they DO have guns.

From Brussels to Berlin, in my experience, you should plan an overnight stay somewhere in between. I drove from Bavaria to Amsterdam once, that's about 1.100 kilometers, and it took me 13 hours speeding like hell, and I wouldn't do it again. Brussels-Berlin is a bit shorter, 950 maybe, but if you don't take your time, you miss so many beautiful things on the way that are worth seeing. If you haven't got the time for a 4-day ride, I'd rather recommend you take a plane. It's less than an hour, and less of an experience.

I'm sorry, Mr Bahnhofsklo, the difference between Google Maps and driving is that I DID IT, and you have to use a Klo (a loo) now and then and also get hungry now and then, so you takea detour. And with all the construction areas and trafficjams in summer, you DEFINITELY won't make it from Amsterdam to Berlin in a day.
