How to remove "Recent Unread Emails from Contacts" from the Yahoo mail opening page.?
I asked this question a few months ago. That solution worked for a while. Now Yahoo has removed that option.
The very annoying "Recent Unread Emails from Contacts" is back with a vengeance.
I just want to go straight to my email without dealing with the added crap Yahoo keeps putting in the way.
Thank you in advance.

You may just have to train your eyes to ignore it ----(not an easy trick, I'll admit)---cause Yahoo won't allow it to be disabled---(at least, not at this time)---and we've all tried to find a way.
Maybe with enough negative feedback, they would give us an option for, or against it, in the settings--(like they eventually did for the updates).

It's another feature that we can't remove, just like My Photos and My Attachments and the Chat box. It does go away after you open your unread mail. It can be handy if you are waiting for a email, you can just click it there instead of going to the inbox and searching for it. I don't think they are going to give us the option of having it or not.

Yup, another stupid "enhancement" by idiot code monkeys whom can't leave well enough alone. You'd think that after getting slapped-down time and time again for effing with the product, these morons would get the hint that "CLASSIC" should mean "leave the look and feel of the code as it was!"
