Ramadan your opinion...four days?

until Everybody Draw Mohammad Day. As I am sure you know in response to what many consider continuous attacks on our Freedom of Speech, there is a grassroots movement to Draw Mohammad and post them on the internet on May 20th. What do yo think the response of the Islamic world will be to this event? Do you think they are going to react violently to random Westerners or those they think are Westerners?

Update:

she said...my Lord so violent for someone who does not care...its my funeral?? Perfect example of why this is happening.

Update 2:

OK I dont agree with wht OK say. Drawing photos has nothing to do with the violence he advocates and I do not want to be connected to that. Shame on you OK!!! Shame on you.

I was going to answer your question briefly and then saw your additions about OK and read his Answer.

In all fairness, the guy is being up front and telling it like it is.

We all know that the Draw the Prophet thing is an intended insult. There's no tow ways about it.

    But, why did that come?

Because of the death threats sent to the people who made that comedy about the teddy bear in that sitcom I don't really watch, anyway. Something Park or the other.

And why did that joke come there?

Because an Englishwoman who had gone to Sudan on a Charity Mission to tech kindergarten children there had let a kid name his Charity Teddy Bear - Mohammad and all the Muslims there wanted to kill her for that!

Now, if I remove all the background, it would look like we are provoking the Muslims, which isn't correct.

Like it or not, it's the culmination of a lot of events, started by the Muslims.

And, whether you or anyone else likes it or not, the fact remains that we have all been extremely patient and exercising extreme restraint with all the provocations of the Muslims, not the other way around.

I don't see any reason for you to fly off the handle and accuse OK of advocating violence, because he isn't doing that.

Seems to me you have some problem understanding what he seems to have taken a lot of trouble writing for you.

Also, the way you took off on She said using a simple figure of speech - "...it's your funeral" is scary, to say the least.

Funny how you didn't react to the Boycott who dared you to your face, though. Guess it's his lucky day.

In fact, I'm writing so much just to avoid being accused of something else, since you seem to need for me to go over things slowly.

    Take care.

    Have a nice day.

I guess only people like you are counting down the days because personally I could not care less and it will not be receiving any reaction from me. I mean how pathetic grown adults feel the need to do such a thing. I am a westerner, Muslims are westerners too, its not a western/eastern issue at all. Why would I react violent to an out and out provocation from a bunch of bigots with nothing better to do with their day? I feel pity for you all. It says volumes about you and nothing about me, draw what you like its your funeral....

    EDIT

Silly little girl its an expression, an idiom you fool that relates to you being responsible for the things you say and do or do you not stand before God on judgment day? Are you exempt?

    '' it's your funeral phrases / idioms

Also, it's or it's not his or her or my or our or their funeral. One must take the consequences of one's destructive or foolish actions. This expression is used to show one's contempt or lack of sympathy for another's actions.''

'': : what is the meaning of "It is your funeral"

: "It's your funeral" means that what you are about to do is foolish, but you are the only person who will suffer consequences from your actions. The two words "it is" are always contracted to "it's" in this phrase, under normal circumstances. A phrase with a similar meaning is "knock yourself out".''

Trust someone like you to twist it to imply I was meaning violence in it being said.....shish issues or what?

I wonder if you've noticed that the Muslims are realizing that nobody is afraid of them.

You see, the mistake that everybody was making was that people were trying to be patient with the Muslims and were exercising restraint.

Now, the Muslims took it for our weakness and found out, the hard way, that they had run out all the chances we gave them to mend their ways.

Today, except for a few stupid Liberals, nobody else is even bothering themselves to what the Muslims are getting from everyone else.

While I do have some pity for those decent Muslims who are not like the rest of them, fact is that if our skinheads bash them, today, I don't care. I don't care because it is that very mistake that we made before that has landed us in the kind of problems that we are facing today.

People like the Boycott are the ones who make it necessary for someone who will knock the chip of his shoulder and, if he gets the drubbing he asked for, why should I care?

In UK, the Muslim gangs went around bashing the Gays and Lesbians because they were weaker than them. Then, some of the locals got fed up with that and, though they actually didn't like the gays and lesbians too much, a lot of them went and thumped the Muslims just to show their disgust for them.

All over the world, the Muslims always rub everyone the wrong way and end up getting their butts whupped in the end.

In UK, a lot of the Muslims who live there went around, like Anjem Chaudhry, calling the Brits baby killers because of the Islamic propaganda. They even did that when the Brits were getting their lads back in coffins there. Today, the Muslims are purposefully building a 13 story Mosque near ground zero of the 9/11 site. Wherever you go, you see the Muslims being Wise Guys and thinking that all the rest of us are fools.

This is what has created the disgust and revulsion that all others have for the Muslims.

First of all, the growing Muslim slums, then the growing Muslim gangs that distribute the drugs grown in Afghanistan and made in factories in the UAE, then all those incidences of rape by the Muslim gangs and their Imams blaming it on the non-hijabi dress styles of the local people, and then all those Muslims living there and openly supporting their enemies and even calling their own people baby killers and the like and, finally, the terrorism attempts of the home grown Muslims ... all of these have made even people like me get totally fed up with these Muslims.

Any act of violence any more by the Muslims will result in immediate and extreme retaliations and the Muslims now know that.

Nobody is going to take any crap from the Muslims any more.

All that the guy like Boycott needs to do is to shoot his mouth off in real life and he'll get to learn his lessons pretty quick, nowadays.

Pity, but, the Muslims are going to bring a lot of woe down upon themselves.

    Edit

Ma'am, I was just laying the foundations for why people are doing things like that - the Draw the Prophet Day.

I don't see why I should be ashamed about stating facts.

We didn't go around being violent, to start with, did we?

So, why should we be blamed for what the Muslims started?

And, by the way, where am I advocating violence?

Get a grip on yourself, lady. I'm very clearly saying that I don't care what happens to the Muslims any more [which should tell you that I once did support the decent ones.]

And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.(Surah: Al-Furqan(25), Verse #: 63 )

Well im honest...it is insulting but we do have free speech in this country. I mean lets be real, a cartoon was drawn and death threats were made and a bomb scare in nyc. I live in NYC and my mother works on 42nd street. Muslims say its insulting but we arent here in the usa to tip toe around anybody. We live in a free country and because some muslims wanna kill and hurt us for that i say lets do it....we arent going to give up our rights, and we will die for them.

And i married a muslim man and i have no problems telling him this same thing, why, cause his family came here to the usa knowing that this country gives them a better wway of life, because we have freedom. We have rights , and even if it pisses ppl off we still have free speech. The same way you can ask this question andwe can debate it

    Thank God for that
