Growing alfalfa sprouts?

without the threat of getting sick.

So, I found out that my health food store no longer sells alfalfa sprouts because of the high likelihood of some sort of contamination to them.

How can I grow them and NOT create the environment suitable for bad bacteria?

    you can get some really good sprouting kits from www.wheatgrasskits.com. The easy green sprouter is the one I use. It works very well and does most of the work for you.

    That will not work. Go to a health food and buy alfalfa seeds and a sprouting jar.
