I'd say 70's just because 1970 was the last year the Beatles were together. I also prefer the fashion and hair styles to that of the 80s, which was mostly just "hair band" styles.

Some of the best music came from the 80's, but if you want to do a theme...I guess the 70's only had disco, the 80's had hair bands, madonna, thompson twins, tears for fears...from heavy to preppy you name it ...I love the 80's hahahaha( I know I am lame lol)
