Have you ever told the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

I would be a liar if i said no! I have many times told the whole, part, and then avoided! Hey I am learning! :))

Actually, in the best and worst of times, I have told the truth, but it is far better mixed with grace...also,

In the best and worst of times, I have not spoken my truths, held in bondages, and chains, not certain how much could be, would be, should be spoken or revealed with some.

Some cannot handle the truth, can I, can you, can she, can he at all times hear the truth concerning ourselves??

Can any of us, in every instant? Somewhere in that is the quiet reasoning's of truth too!

Truth without grace is a hammer. Seasons of love and truth, remain in the hearts and offer falls in softness. Love places truth in kindness. Sometimes, a waiting period is needed before all truths are placed. Time to discern, what must be weighed. This is deep.

grace alone is... permissiveness

I like the mix of truth with grace the best, and yes, I have lied too. All men have...

and women too... in degrees... we have many names for this... and many headings too, and many minutes of this stored, way back in the files... those X files of ours...

Speaking our truths in love has much to do, with learning how to love well, with kindness beyond measure, with a softness of quiet resolve, and this starts in my voice to me... in my rooms... the place I have, and go to, as i speak with God! I love the truth, and am always asking God to help me clarify that which I am, say, do, and that which is done unto me too... Love is a two way experience, and the gates of grace and truth swing both ways... I have sat on both sides of this fence... but so thankful too, that I do have that wonderful God who does help me look way deep for the truth in myself. Better I start there, than outside. I have faith, that God is working in all of me, bringing to light those areas, whereby, perfection is taking place... and faith is believing in that which is invisible and unseen... I question and examine continuously the many areas of my parts, that remain in the dark. We all have these areas, I speak in truth... and we have hope too, knowing that God has mercy for us. He is our only help.

I would rather, walk in truths, for how do we trust, without this...I am glad God is merciful to us, as I turn in repentance for those times in which I could not speak truths. And hey, I am certain you don't look fat in those jeans...:)) See Ps 116,

Yes to the main quest. Now for the rest of the quest, white lies to appeal to the one which you do not want to hurt the feelings of when in fact they already know, but then it is showing compassion. To stimulate, manipulate, program, inspire, a coach of a team may lift the spirit of the team by stimulating the team, you are better than you think you are, you are the best, when in reality they are not, same goes with person to person, but then if all of mankind was perfect, there would be no need for stimulation, manipulation, programming, or inspire, God spoke the words, men wrote them down to stimulate, manipulate, program, and inspire, simple truth of truth, even though I love, I do not approve of all things, but I do agree on love. Seriously, you know I do not say all outloud, but I do say a lot, and if I say I do not know, I do not know, and yet people will prod for a theory, or what do you think this means ? If you open your mouth and speak, you are in danger of being proved wrong ! So we look through the clothing and skin to see what is inside, the most important part of us all, the spirit inside, the Heart and Mind, and where the two stand. The truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, I do not think God lives or believe God lives, I know for a fact God lives ! And you are seeking the truth of all things just like many others are also ! We do not battle each other, we battle things unseen ! Spirits over the churches, spirits over the governments, spirits over any group of two or more !

Interesting choice of words... the truth... the whole truth and nothing but... the truth, you were referring these words to humans weren't you?

I could tell you the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, which would make me a liar, because I'm lying to myself.. we all do, convince ourselves the ''truth''... and later define it as the truth... and obviously believe in it, eventually...

For instance... I might say one doesn't look fat in his/her jeans... because he/she is fat... thus looking fat is out of the question, for they are what you see, and there's little distinction between one and the other... and I'm speaking the truth, for there is no falsehood in it... I haven't lied... if she/he had asked me whether or not they looked fatter than usual, it would've been a different question altogether...

I speak the truth and nothing more... though at times, I'd rather it a little slant, than whole...

To express truth in language is very tough to do.

Q Where were you just now?

A: Define what exact part of the past you wish me to tell you where I was.

Thus the question asked is very important.

Q: Do you like Mr X?

A: My brain has recollections of Mr X from many interactions, some I like, others I don't like, it depends upon which memories I am remembering as to whether I like him right now, but that might change as I answer your question and begin to remember other things associated with my initial answer.

Truth is all perceptions and no singular perception, accept from the perspective of the person, whom is ignorant of the whole. As the whole is every moving, truth is every changing. The rates of change vary depending upon the object. The weather changes fast, the radioactive decay of carbon happens slowly (relative). What is fast and slow is relative to our perception of time, which itself varies depending upon situation.

Truth only exists because lies exist, and truth is some concept we make so we can strive away from our lies and toward an ideal facade. Any answer you give to any question will be from a limited perspective (the illusion of knowledge).

So the question: "do you like Tommy?" is irrelevant, because you don't know Tommy, because Tommy is not a fixed quantity, and neither are you. Your opinion is dead (of the past), so the correct question is "did you like tommy last tuesday at 3pm?". You don't exist accept from the thoughts you have attention upon at a particular moment. Defining how you think about something is to hide from yourself the other thoughts you do have about it.

When I was about six, I answered the front door of our house and the cleaning-delivery man was there (from "Hurlburt's": isn't childhood memory a strange thing?). He asked, "Is your mother here?", and I replied matter-of-factly, "She's having an enema.". I then went and told my mother the service I had just rendered through the bathroom door. How's that?

That's where I learned to be moderate with the truth -- not to say economizing with it as is so popular today; as when spilling oil. It's the petroleum boys' version of being green. Wouldn't want to use up all that truth at once, you know.

Truth isn't for everyone. Don't you know that some people arc up when you speak the truth, and this can be followed by them having a huge rant! And then you wish you'd kept your thoughts to yourself because it only gets really boring once that happens!

But spiritually speaking, I do my best to deliver truth and let the pieces lie where they fall.

I've leaned that I'm happy with that approach.

Remember everything that I am typing is a lie, I am lying right now. But if I am telling that I am lying then I told a truth. So how can I tell you the truth if I am lying. I'm a Liar.

always tried to. Absolute truth cannot be told. And if told cannot be understood. I am comfortable in telling the truth, because truth is something that majority of others do not easily believe.

Many times, especially when in the witness box where one must tell the truth or one may face perjury charges and end up in jail myself.
