1. My name is Katherine Violet. Which of the following nicknames do you think is cuter: Kate, Katie, Violet, Viola, KV, etc?
2. What are your thoughts on the name Siobhan (sha-vahn) Rebecca? Siobhan is a family name, and my husband and I preferred this spelling to the spelling Rebbecca.
3. What are your thoughts on the name Lorelei Evangeline? Rate out of ten!
4. What do you think about the name Eden Melody? The name Melody was chosen by our older daughter. Origanally, my husband and I had decided on Eden Lucia. Which do you prefer, Eden Melody or Eden Lucia?
5. Lastly, do you prefer Rosa Chanel or Chanel Rosalie?

1. Personally, I like Katie. It's Cute, Quirky + Fun.
2. I have 2 friends called Siobhan, but it's said like 'Shivon'? eitherway, nice! And I find Rebecca is most commonly spelt with one B than two anyway? I like both names, but I don't feel they kind of like, 'flow' when together? My friend Siobhan's middle name is Marie, which I like but maybe it's cause I'm so used to it? But hey, aslong as you like it that's all that matters!
3. I really like Lorelei (7/1O) but again Evangeline seems awful long (both names together are 7 syllables: Lo-re-lei E-van-ge-line), but presumeably you'd not be using both names in common everyday speech anyway?
4. I prefer Eden Lucia. Nice touch you let your daughter have a say though, how about 2 middle names?
5. Definately Chanel Rosalie.
6. Lori is quite cute for Lorelei. Rosa is quite short anyway, not sure what to do with that one?
7. Anything, aslong as no two names were very similar! For example, I know two sisters called Alix and Alice.. Really?! I don't know what their parents were thinking, the names sound almost identical!
8. I like Holly.
9. It was different from any I've come accross before (although I've not been an active member long). It was a nice idea, I just hope you can see that I'm not slating any of your choices, only expressing my personal preferences. :]
BQ. I'm a long way away from ever having kids as of now, but I've been pretty set on Ashton for a boy for a while now. Girls, I like Skye and Evie. :]
hope this helps you out!

1. Kate; Violet is cute, but that's NOT your first name and your first name is lovely.
2. I like it. Rebecca is the proper spelling; Rebbecca is terribly misspelled, so I don't know what you mean by you prefer the correct spelling to a nonexistent one...
3. Lorelei Evangeline - 6/10. I don't think the names flow well. The end of Lorelei and beginning of Evangeline slur together, and it's just way too many syllables.
4. I think they're ugly. Eden is too biblical, and Melody is a musical term -- not a name. Eden Lucia is much better.
5. Rosa Chanel. Chanel in generally is extremely tacky. Naming your child after a fashion label you probably can't afford? It's corny and really pathetic. Not to say you're poor, but NOBODY can afford Chanel, and if you can't afford it, how can you possibly name a child after it?
6. Lorelei -- Lola. Rosa -- Ro.
7. Joshua, Violet, Leona, and Nathaniel.
8. Ivy for a girl, Nicolas for a boy.
9. Yes.

1. Kate, because it's a nice name that stands great on it's own and it makes the most sense with your name. Katie is juvenile.
2. I love the name Siobhan, I hate the name Rebecca. I've never liked that name.
3. I will rate this name a 4. I hate the name Lorelei. I love Evangeline though.
4. I don't really care for Eden, but I love Melody. Out of your choices though Eden Lucia flows better.
5. Chanel Rosalie. I love Rose, but I hate Rosa and Rosaline.
6. Lori and Rosa is too short of a name for a nickname.
7. Rose and James
8. Hollie for a girl. Noel for a boy.
9. It's alright.
BQ: Papin Eugene and Iris Christine

Well welcome to Yahoo!Answers :)
1. Katherine Violet is GORGEOUS! You so lucky to have such a beautiful name! I myself prefer the nickname Katey, but I also love Kate.
2. Honestly, Siobhan isn't my style. It's alright, but eh, it just looks odd, in my opinion. Rebecca is the correct spelling, btw, so I do like that.
3. Lorelei Evangeline is quite lovely. I'd rate it a 8/10. It sounds very sophisticated, yet kind of exotic.
4. Eden Melody is cute. I have Melody on my guilty pleasure list. Lucia is pretty as well, but since Eden is shorter, I think it looks better paired with a longer middle name.
5. Ugh. I ADORE the name Rosalie, but I HATE the name Chanel. It sounds so trashy. I guess i'd go with Rosa Chanel though, because it has a better flow to it. What about Rosalie Chanel?
6. Lorelei -- Lorrie? Rosa -- Rosie, Rose
7. Joshua, Violet, Caroline & William.
8. Girls: -- Eve, Noelle, Caroline. Boys: -- Nicholas
9. Yes, very much so :)
BQ:
Sorry, no stories. Most of my favorites are just names I love...(ie, Katherine Sophia, Caroline Ruby, Esmé Charlotte, Benjamin Riley, Jackson Henry, Connor William....)

3. 3 it's a lot of syllables!

5. Chanel Rosalie.
6. Lore or Lulu and Rosa to me is already a nickname.
7. Lorelei & Oliver
8. Noelle
9. Yes =]
BQ: I chose names that are some what unique, traditional/old fashioned and that have a family name some where in them.

1. Katie and Violet are the cutest
2. I'm not really a fan of the name, but if it's a family name, I would go for it!
3. 9 I love it! Of course, I'm a Gilmore Girls fan, so I really like the name Lorelai. Evangeline is beautiful
4. Both are pretty, however I prefer Eden Melody
5. Rosa Chanel, only because I don't like the name Chanel, so I would prefer it as a middle name
6. Rory for Lorelai and Rosie for Rosa, although I don't think it requires a nickname
7. Josiah, and Carlin
8. Noelle. One of my best friend's middle name is Noel which I love but I prefer the spelling "Noelle"
9. Yes :)

1. Benjamin Robert - I love this name. Benjamin is such a strong, masculine, intelligent name. I absolutely LOVE the nickname Benji! It's so cute and it's different then the usual Ben. I think this name ages well, and Robert is a great middle name. 2. I'd definitley name her Indiana Piper. I've always loved the name Indiana but i didn't think anybody else liked it. I posted a question about it once and got bad feedback so i decided not to include it in my favorites anymore :P 3. Mallory Addison and Cassidy Farrah :D 4. Either Benjamin or Nathaniel. I think those are both strong first names that would both flow nicely with Robert - Benjamin Robert, Nathaniel Robert. 5. Charlotte nn Charley; Arabella nn. Ella/Ellie. 6. Nathaniel Robert (as above) sound great together. Also, Nathaniel Thomas and Nathaniel Lucas sound nice. 7. I love the names Shannon and Dakota but they don't sound right as middle names. Also Myles for a boy name doesn't sound great as a middle name. 8. I think Byron and Spencer are great names for brothers - Spencer is my second favorite boy name and Byron is different, but cute. I think Juliet and Xavier are good names that work well with Spencer and Byron. 9. Jennifer Louise and Johnathan Eric - Jennifer Love Hewitt & Johnny Depp :D 10. I don't really know all the people in the Y!A Baby Name section, so i'm gonna skip this question :P I just like answering questions lol.
