Why are English-speaking nations dubble 'ard?

Look back through history.

Since there has been a recognisable English language, those nations which speak English have consistently managed to kick the crap out of those puny nations with speak some other heathen language.

It seems that the only way to be successful is to speak English.

And everybody knows that God is English.

So why haven't those nations which don't speak English cottoned on to this and abandoned their inferior languages?

Are they mad, or just too stubborn for their own good?

How true, how true! I simply cannot understand why they insist on speaking their French and German and Spanish and stuff. I am unable to understand these foreign devils! What a lovely world it could be if we could just get them to see sense. And god IS English! I know, because I saw in that movie The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston, the tablets clearly had English writing.

By "those nations that speak English" you mean England. England managed to sucessfully bully the globe into submission and as a result - spread its language.

I can't think of any other English speaking countries that are "dubble ard". I mean all the muscle America showed in World War 2 was kinda cancelled out by their shambolic show in Vietnam, and now in Iraq. Australia? Canada? South Africa? No.

Kazakstan is the greatest and most double hard country in the world and they do NOT speak English. Plus they have superior Potassium

properly, linguistically speaking, each sort of English is the two confirmed and the social concerns that pass into identifying which version is "greater valuable" have little if something to do with the certainly high quality or "purity" of the language. there is not any genuine "appropriate" use of grammar. the often properly-known grammar of a dialect is inherently appropriate. Defining "greater valuable" as using the widest selection of vocabulary will probable direct you to between the greater so-called "substandard" languages. city dialects, like Cockney English or African-American Vernacular English (Ebonics), tend to have a lots wider phrasal form than dialects that conform greater to the "well-known" sort of English. in spite of the indisputable fact that, because i've got no longer relatively given an answer on your question, i will say that the individuals of england communicate the superb English, because of fact, as I suggested, no sort of a language is inherently greater valuable than yet another, and properly, it relatively is English. they have naming rights, being England and all. i think of it relatively is purely trustworthy that they get to p.c...
