How do you remove candle wax from a satin tablecloth?

I have to wash about 30 large satin tablecloths that were used at my Granddaughter's wedding reception. Some of them have some candle wax on them. How do I remove this wax before I wash the tablecloths? Thanks for any help.

freeze it, the wax should be able to chip off easily.

I had spilled candle wax on a cotton blend throw rug, so I boiled a tea kettle of water, and poured it over my rug, over the bath tub, and it lifted it out, completely! Some candles have an oil base to them, so, depending what the candle has in it, theres a good chance this may just work for you! (this has more of a chance to lift the wax then something cold would, ice didnt work at all) Good Luck!

try ironing a paper bag on the wax or maybe underneath it- I forget

the heat from the iron melts the wax onto the paper bag instead of the tablecloth
