I have been diagnosed with cervical spondylosis?
I have felt foggy and heavy headed. Just wondering if there are any others out there that can share there experiences with this. Did PT help, did you have to have surgery and at what point?

My son in law in an auto accident, where the jeep flipped over injuring his neck, He went through everything, PT, and finally had to have surgery. They went through the front of his neck at a crease, and the scan isn't noticeable at all. It took him a while to get back to 100% but he is fine now. He lost use of his right arm, with severe pain in the muscles below the elbow.
I'm adding you to my prayers, as I have been a para for 27 years.

My son was diagnosed with this when he was about 14. It ended his baseball season - the twisting during a swing or throw was quite painful. He benefitted from PT and was fine the next season. Now 21, he plays golf frequently and feels no pain. I guess he outgrew the trouble it caused.
Best of luck to you.

get a doctor who uses surgery as a last resort -take your list of questions & have them answered BEFORE you leave the office.
