I DROPPED MY IPOD TOUCH IN THE WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Depending on the circumstances, like if it just slipped or it was thrown in the water, Apple might replace it. Unlikely though.

Having dropped my own iPod touch on hard asphalt from about two stories up, experience says slide the unlocking thing really really slow. I mean REALLY slow. Although this sounds cheesie - try try try again!

If that doesnt work, try letting your friends or people you trust unlock it - sometimes they will see a soloution you've completly overlooked. As a last resort, take it to an Apple retail store - I know they repair cracked screens. For a price, of course.

Let it dry out by putting it on a towel inside and than, wait a week. If it wont work take it to the store and tell them itmysteriously broke :)

plug it into your computer via the usb cord

if that doesnt work then hold the home button and the hold button until something shows up

if that doesnt work then call apple...ive never done it but apparently they'll send you a new ipod sometimes?

Leave it in the rice for a few days,

it's game over, apple won't believe you if you say it stopped working :( but you could take the risk to lie. water damage+ipod=death
