Feedback on Flip Ultra HD camcorder please?

Looking for feedback, pro and con, on the above camcorder unit.

Considering it as a gift for my 21-year-old son's graduation and looking to stay within the $200.00 range. Its use will mostly just be videos of/with friends; wanting something user-friendly and p/c compatible.

Any opinions? Anything to be wary of? I am thinking it is in the ballpark of what I am looking for (both pricewise and functionally) but wondering if there is anything more I need to know.

    I own a UltraHD (received as a gift). It is an 'Ok' pocket cam but I tend to be more critical of a camera's features when comparing. More is always better, but then the price goes up too.

    You might consider a Kodak Zi8:

    choose the final video high quality? avert the two a form of cameras and get a digicam that has a MiniDV tape force for storage media. MiniDV tape cameras have the final video high quality in assessment to the different video storage format. Get a camcorder with a Mic jack, camcorder microphones do not do nicely with the audio whilst recording something or somebody better than 5 ft from the digicam. yet avert a turn. There are extra questions approximately Y solutions approximately those and video high quality than the different digicam.
