Blue hair dye over red hair dye?
I currently have my hair dyed red but I am looking to switch to blue.. Will anything happen if I just put the blue dye on top off the red that's in my hair?
The red I put in my hair has turned a darkish red now. If I put the blue in and it goes a purple colour will it go closer to blue if i put another one in like a week later?

Depends...if its a brown-ish red, I don't know what colour it would turn out. But if its like a bright vibrant firetruck red, then a purple I'd imagine. If its crazy colours over bleached hair I don't think it will take that long to wash out, it'll probably go pink after a while and eventually back to blonde, which would be the best time to dye it.

Could mean purple hair dye, or disaster, go to the professionals.

You won't be able to get blue hair if its dyed red unless you bleach out the redtones first.

your hair will turn to a yucky mucky colour and you will not look nice lol! =D hopes this helps bbz
