Can you use the sims 2 in a windows 7 laptop?

Hey...

Im just wonderin.....I play the sims 3 on my laptop but i want to make sure if i can use sims 2 on it or not. My sister says the laptop is too new and the sims 2 is...too old or sumtin 4 it...

PLEASE HELP!!!

I want to know if the sims 2 will work in it.

I dont want to buy it and then it doesnt work.

My sister says it wont work cos it too old.....HELP!!!

    I've done it before on mine, it is not too old.

    Yes you can if the specs meet the minimums. Not only is there compatibility mode if youre having issues but you can run software virtualization and run it within windows XP on your windows 7 desktop.
