I like sci-fi & fiction genres mainly. Some of my favorite authors are: Christopher Moore, Neil Gaiman, Roger Zelazny, Charles Stross & Charlaine Harris. Mainly Gaiman & Moore so suggestions in those genres would be nice. Thanks! :)

You should read the maximum ride series. It's about children who were experimented on and know they have wings and other abilities. Funny and lots of action.
