No. It's next move is to end birthright citizenship. I'm for all that too.

AZ can now take it's head out of it's butt and start to deal with illegal immigration with backing of the law, rather that having politically correctness dictate policy. Now if a drug dealer is pulled over, the police can ask the drug dealer if he is a legal citizen or an illegal alien. With out SB 1070, the police could not ask that question, and had to assume the drug dealer was an American citizen.

The author of Arizona's immigration law, state Sen. Russell Pearce,
told constituents he wants to pass another measure
to invalidate citizenship granted to the children of illegal aliens.
Pearce wrote that he plans to
"push for an Arizona bill that would refuse to accept or issue a birth certificate
that recognizes citizenship to those born to illegal aliens,
unless one parent is a citizen,"
in an email obtained by Phoenix CBS affiliate KPHO.
Pearce also forwarded an email from another correspondent expanding on the proposal —
which he later told KPHO he didn't agree with.
"If we are going to have an effect on the anchor baby racket,
we need to target the mother.
Call it sexist, but that's the way nature made it.
Men don't drop anchor babies,
illegal alien mothers do," the email said.
Pearce did tell the CBS affiliate, however,
that he didn't see anything wrong with using the term "anchor baby"
to refer to natural-born U.S. citizens.
Last year, 92 Congressmen sponsored a bill
that would change the 14th Amendment
so that children of illegal aliens born in the United States
would not be granted citizenship.
The bill is still in committee.
Last month, Rep. Duncan Hunter of California told a tea party rally
he would support deporting children of illegal aliens,
even if they are citizens.
"And we're not being mean.
We're just saying it takes more than walking across the border
to become an American citizen," he said.
"It's what's in our souls."
His spokesman later sought to clarify the remarks with the Associated Press,
saying that Duncan believes that
"U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants
should stay with their parents
unless there is a legal guardian who could take care of them."

Their next move is to enforce the law. The only thing the new law does is give local law enforcement the ability to enforce the federal laws that were not being enforced by the federal government. Anyone who claims anything different is either misinformed or is a liar.

Feds may reject Arizona deportations

The assistant secretary of homeland security for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E), John Morton, warned Friday that he might reject deportations that occur as a result of Arizona's new immigration law.
The excuse for this is as bogus as it gets: Any state that dares to clean up after the Federal Government as it refuses to fulfill its constitutional obligation to secure our borders is somehow violating the Constitution.
This coming from the same Democrats who have spent the last year absolutely tearing the Constitution to shreds with one illegal government takeover after another (the banks, the auto industry, housing, health care, student loans, Wall Street, etc.).
And never mind the fact that Arizona is in no way working against federal law or interfering with federal authority on this issue. The Federal Government is simply refusing to do its job and the states are left to step up and control the damage.
I personally think Arizona should build its own wall, deport these criminals itself, and if the Federal Government tries to interfere, initiate a full-scale confrontation with Washington, drawing a line in the sand on states' rights and daring them to cross it.
Or, they could just start putting them all on buses to San Francisco.

This is a whole bunch of trouble. It needs all of us talking to our congress person about it.
Arizona can deport of its own accord however.

It would suck to have another Civil War... but someone has to tell the feds where the line is drawn.
