What do you think of this name?

The other day while browsing a baby name book I came across the name Adelaide and instantly fell in love. Then today while trying to think of middle names my hubby suggested Bay (but would spell it Bey).

So what do you think of Adelaide Bey S. (S being the last name) and what do you think of Adelaide Bey Scarlett S. or Adelaide Bey Magnoila S.? I'm not usually a fan of two middle names, but trying it out.

Thanks

Update:

It's a girls name

I think Adelaide is very nice. Though it's like the Madeleine/Addison, this and Addison are getting very popular and if you're thinking of Addie as a nickname, there may be a bunch of other Addies at school with her.

I don't care for Bay or Bey. Of the two, I'd prefer the Bay spelling.

Also not a fan of two middle names. I've heard it's a pain on forms and I think it's too precious and cutesy for me.

I do like Scarlett and Magnolia quite a bit though! Why not just Adelaide Scarlett or Adelaide Magnolia? Both of these sound great together.

No on the name Bey its sounds like your naming your child after a body of water. And unless you like the name Addie I would not name her Adelaide because that's most likely what people will call her. But if Adelaide is a must how about Adelaide Elise or Alise? My daughter has two middle names she hates it says there's not enough room on applications and when she was in high school they made her choose which middle to use for her diploma said there was not enough room for both.

  • I love Adelaide! Not sure about Bey... Doesn't seem very pretty. Adelaide May I think would be prettier. Adelaide Bey Magnolia does have a nice ring to it, but only if you last name is one or 2 syllables I would think. Any longer and yeah...

I like Adelaide but not Adelaide Bey. Too similar with the long /ey/ sounds. I also dislike double middle names very much. I would go with /d/ or /l/ middle names, like: Adelaide Danielle or Adelaide London.

I like Adelaide, but I'm not a fan of Bey or Magnolia. I like the name Scarlett though.

Two middles names are too many. Better stick to one.

Also the names you like, although very nice are a bit too long and slightly out of past years.
