Should Barry Hall be suspended for his actions in todays game?

Barry has done some stupid things in his past but today he could have knocked Thompson's head from one end of the ground to the other but he didn't...Thompson annoyed me today during the game and I hope he gets reprimanded by the Umpires...what he did went well beyond niggling...if the Umpires (who are sponsored by OPSM need to have their eyes checked) had paid "just one" of the free kicks to Hall then Thompson would have stopped doing what he did.

The Coach of the Kangaroos was a thug and it seems he's teaching "thuggery 101" to his players...tough aggressive football is fantastic but what I saw today wasn't tough it was behind the play and should have been dealt with by those Umpires...oh and I'm not just talking about the Hall/Thompson part there were other players involved in "unsociable football" as well.

Watched the game. A lot of coach Brad Scott's character coming into the roos now.

What should Barry have done? Nothing ? And let Thompson get away with inciting the incident?

Coach Scott was a mongrel up at Brisbane and he is following Clarkson in instilling this trait into his players. It is back firing on Hawthorn and will also at North.

If it was Chris Judd or Gary Ablett getting tormented like that the umpires would have put a stop to it in about 30 seconds. Not only should Barry Hall NOT get suspended for his actions, the umpires from todays game should. they lost control. He has been charged with two offenses i believe, in my opinion, no he should not of been charged, more like given a medal for not bashing that weak dog, thompson, he knew barry couldn't do anything, i'd like to see that spineless prick have a go at him after the game.

No friggin' way, he has done nothing wrong to be worthy of suspension.It amazes me how and when Barry Hall gets into a small battle with another player, people like yourself ask questions whether Hall should be suspended.

If any player should get suspended..it should be the North player (Thompson...I think) for pushing and bumping Hall when Hall was doing up his shoe lace. the North player was a nuisance and a pest..looking for trouble.

No. The disgraceful North Melbourne players were definitely provoking Barry. Barry's just sitting their doing up his shoelaces and some north player pushes him over. What the North Melbourne players did was take advantage of someone's anger problems to get him reported, which is disgraceful. Didn't the North Melbourne players see the scoreboard. It's great the North lost because they well and truly deserved it.
