I need a Windows XP Operating Disk?

My HP is half dead and I need the Windows operating disk to restart. I can't find mine.

During a recent upgrade and download of IE 8, the comp died and left a message....

something about DLL's... I have tried everything in the book, so the last thing is the operating disk.

Anyone have one, or know where I can get one for free. My HP is 10+ years old.

Thank you.

Update:

Please don't tell me to go buy one. The entire computer isn't worth $20

Hmm, either take it to a local repair shop and ask for a re-instillation of Windows XP, it will cost you like $40. Or have a look online and buy a copy, Windows XP is pretty cheep now, or you could try a torrent site, and insert your licence key into it as you would do.

XP is only about £30 to buy now, just go and buy a copy.

Switch to ubuntu or some variation of linux because it is free and consumes little resources and is great for netbooks
