I spent all that money on this?

I saw a couple Carey Price sweaters in the crowd of the Bell Centre today, and unfortunately for those people, there's a fair chance he's already played his last game in Montreal.

Have you ever bought a jersey or other memorabilia with a player's name on it who ended up being traded shortly thereafter, or a complete disappointment?

BQ: What are you drinking on May 24? If you're not Canadian, are you going to celebrate anyways?

Update:

@Tex: Ya, he's been around for a couple years, but I'm sure a lot of people bought those sweaters thinking he was going to be the #1 in Montreal for a long time. Nobody saw Halak coming.

I actually have a Carey Price shirt despite living in Ohio. I don't care if he is playing his last game in Montreal, he is a player I like and as such I bought a shirt. It shouldn't matter if they are moving or don't play well, if you like them you should be proud to wear their jersey or other memorabilia.

By the way I'm getting pretty sick of buying all these shirts with my favorite Blue Jacket players names on them only to have them traded... I feel obligated to buy a shirt with their new teams logo. I mean I have a Tugnutt, Leclaire, Chimera, Torres, Whitney, Vyborny, Foote, Shelley, Zherdev, and the list goes on.
