For those of You who had a Period during your Pregnancy...?
What was the consistency of the blood?
During my last pregnancy I had one period a tthe beginning but I can't rmemeber for the life of me what it was like.
I've had all the signs and symptoms of pregnancy again & now all the sudden I bled right into the toilet paper yesterday morning. At first it was a light pink but there was alot of it.
Now I'm bleeding bright red, & it's consistent.
It's not clotting like a miscarriage or anything.
Can anyone tell me their story.
Well during my first pregnnacy it was way more then spotting thats why I'm calling it a period & not spotting.
I'm not really asking what spotting is I'm asking for those of the women who have had a "period" during their pregnancy can they tell me what the consistency of the blood was? How much about each day? & how long until it stopped?
Soliders Wifey- Thank you very much that eases my mind even though I know thats got to be rare.
But then again people say its rare to have a period during pregnancy & I had one in the beginning of my first pregnnacy.
Trying for #2.
Wish me luck.

I had two periods while in the beginning of my pregnancy, I wasn't worried because... well, I honestly thought they were a period since I didn't know I was pregnant. There was nothing different about them, they were heavy and I still had cramping. Turns out I was 8 weeks pregnant. So I had a period around 4 weeks and again around 8 weeks. I'm now 37w4d with a baby boy :)

I had a bleed at the end of 8 weeks and it was brown and lasted only an hour. All was well but any bleeding should always be checked out. Sometimes it's fine, but you have to get it seen to just in case. How far along are you, out of interest?

it should be like spotting, not even enough to soak a pad and it's usually pink or brown. if you are pregnant and bleeding bright red or doing anything more then spotting i would head to a doctors or hospital (better safe then sorry)
