Please give actual names, dates, places and events so I can Google them to make sure you are telling the truth. Also, please explain what actual Bible story/event you are refeering to, with psalm, page number and Apostle names (if applicable) so I may verify that your story matches the one in the Bible.

ZOMG! I dated this girl once. From Maryland, Northern Viriginia, whatever. Exodus 3:2. "Wonder's Bush burned brightly, the muffiin of thunder, biscuit on the water, pootie of magic. Lips that shook and gratefully nibbled Doritos."

Some are stories, and some are true. The best thing to do is get books on the subject by reputable, peer-reviewed scholars. Read up on the Documentary Hypothesis, Redaction Criticism, Rhetorical Criticism, etc. Scholars have a very sound understanding of the Bible. The modern school of Biblical criticism is dedicated to understanding the text as it was understood by the original hearers. I like to use the example of Animal Farm by George Orwell. Centuries from now, some folks will dismiss it as nonsense because it has talking animals. Others will believe that the farm really existed, and that the animals really talked. But scholars will understand that it is a complex and sophisticated analogy for the Russian revolution. The Bible is the same way. Most of the first five books, for example, were written as a critique of the Jewish schism in the 9th century BC, and were never meant to be history.

Gideon and his throwing of two fleeces, I had mine answered within 24 hours on the 11th of October 1981 and it resulted in my going to a missionary Bible school (New Tribes Missions at Matlock Bath Derbyshire England) and going on for further training from 17th August 1982.

As some of the people are either dead or with the Lord it would be difficult for you to verify. The page number depends on which Bible you use but the Bible I was using at the time is page number 254 (I marked the page at the time) No Psalms were involved, neither were any apostles.

I find it amusing that you will either verify or not, an event that happened in my life.

If you do not verify it, does that mean it never occurred, that I never met my wife at Bible School, had children and went on to do missionary service?

  • You have to be kidding, right?

I mean, this is the 21st century and the bible wasn't even completely written almost 2,000 years ago. So no one, - none - nada - nil could have possibly have a bible story happen to them today, even if they live in the middle east!

By the way, I have this wonderful bridge to sell you, if you still think that anyone could have actually had a Bible story happen to them. And to google it? Yeah, sure. As if the internet existed back then. I still have that wonderful bridge for sale.

I hear people scoff about the bible people being nomads that

had herds of animals, as with Lot and Abraham(Abram),

Gen.13:2-12, but God was as close as their considering him

    with everything they did.

People began coming into the US in 1620 CE, when the KJV

Bible had been published 1611 CE, the US was built up in

between being torn apart in war with the native people and

civil war to war with many countries while the people here

    was not at rest.

Where would both of my grandfathers have been in the US,

without their animals and skill at farming the land and the

blacksmith work they did and the blacksmith's they turned

to that kept the wagons and animals on the go to travel

and do farming. Few people had the skills to read the

bible in their life time but they memorized enough of it to

have God and his word as close as considering him in all

    that they did.

So from my point of view, the bible is from 399 years ago,

colonies on US soil began 390 years ago(Abraham was

352 years after the flood, sent by God into a land at age

75, year 2083, had Isaac at age 100, they knew God as

did Jacob and the 12 tribes after them. Turmoil, famine

and troubles in land or lands were faced, Acts 7:1-60),

not much different from grandparents and the last one,

was 113 years ago to 46 years ago.

WW1 was 96 years ago, the automobile as well, the great

    depression from 81 year ago, 1929 - 1939 CE, WW2 was

What conditions existed in the US for education 67 years

ago? Was the KJV Bible the progress man had made

since Moses was in the wilderness year 2513 to year

    2553(1513 BCE + 1611 CE = ) 3124 years after Moses?

Now at 2010 CE was 399 years ago for the KJV.

So the progress of humankind inside the bible and out

side the bible to my place and time has been slow, and

turmoil, famine and troubles in their land and in all lands

until total war for all, twice as Matt.24:3,7,14,15(Daniel

was at year 3460[606 BCE, now at 2010 CE], that was

2616 years ago that Judah kings end at Babylon, there

will be no king until Jesus at his 2nd coming with his

firstfruits, 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; first resurrected, all the

dead are resurrected into the 1000 year reign of Jesus.

As the years creep by, this comes for all involved.

The one about Daniel in the lion's den. Only it was some guy named Pedro, in a Tijuana prison. And some smuggled in mojitos. Then, miraculously, 9 months later, little Damien showed up. I still don't know how that happened.

How can I explain something to you that's happened to me personally, while having it appear online somehow? So, if I witnessed an angel appear before me, that means it must be on the internet? This is so silly. I don't even believe in angels, but if I did I wouldn't want to fuel some spiritual fire within another group of people who have seen angels. I would hate being stigmatized as being a nut job.

not to me, but Israel in 1948.This is after WW2 when the U.N.intervened and it became Israel again. See the book of Ezekiel in the Old Testement. You need to look this up. It's considered one of the end times prophecies.

In the book of Judges there was a guy who sat down at the city gates and talked to someone. I once sat on a city park bench and talked to a person. It's a true fact. God loves me more than other people who are not in my story.
