virus help please! i can't even open my antivirus program.?
stumbleupon took me to an adult website that got me infected with a relentless virus that won't even let me open my antivirus (symantec) please help, what steps should i take.
i don't have much money to get a new antivirus program, is there free software that can help me and will actually open.

symantec is supposed to stop viruses,
or is it not ?
perhaps you had better call norton
as it was they're anti virus program
that allowed your computer to become infected.

Try Spyware Doctor from google pack. Just disable the virus before that by rebooting your computer into safe mode with networking (reboot, hit F8, choose safe mode with networking). Then download anti-spyware, update its virus data base and run a full system scan.
