iTunes will not let you. There is a free program called Sharepod. Have it backup all the songs into a folder (it will have a non-song file in it as well). Then, have iTunes try to import the non-song file into the library, and all of the songs from that folder will be in the iTunes library. Without another program, you cannot copy songs from one computer to another through an iPod.

The easiest is to create a new folder with Windows Explorer the the local disk C: you can call it my files. Then you copy or move all the files from the shared folder to the new folder using the shared account.
Login with your new account and move the files from C:\My Files to your desktop or My Documents folder. If the files are not so many you could also move them to a USB flash drive or your ipod and then copy them to the new account.
To copy or backup files from your ipod you can try SharePod it is a free utility for transferring and backing up your ipod. http://www.getsharepod.com/
