What's the difference between " lasting for eternity" and "Living eternally?"?

Living forever is not necessarily good unless the quality of life is also good. Therefore, "eternal" describes the quality of life God lives endlessly.

How do you gauge this... language?

    God is endless and we have a promise to be endless. For if God is endless and we love God we are endless in God. Lasting for eternal is Paul Gospel and many who liken Paul’s Gospel are lasting for eternity as we see today, but, on the other hand John Gospel is living and lasting for eternity “eternal". A balance is always needed in lasting for eternity and living eternally which the new change is balance for all in all these speaks of God on earth coming not for sin but life.

    "eternal" describes the quality of life God lives endlessly. yes Kar yes……… God is.

    The measure in which is measure back when true love in them is at hand, is eternal endlessly, as a mark of God in love. This beyond what words can describe but spirit can see and is joy in the know always as God breath for all as they in Truth to love, this the thrid day fulfilment

    Post pictures on that old profile of some penis an say "Look at my package!" then they will stop calling you a girl. Now that I've attempted to make you laugh, on to answering your actual question :-} "living transgender" is just what those people say to themselves to try to marry the thoughts of seeing you as female, and you saying you are male. So they choose to see your maleness, or transgenderedness as something you put on, rather than change their image of you in their head. They also could be genuinily confused. My aunty is very supporting of whatever female to maleness is going on with me, but she doesn't really know that much about transgender and transsexual issues, so she messes up the wording, and wording is so precise when it comes to Trans issues, because the wrong word can totally mess up the meaning, and the truth. For example, I don't Feel like a boy, I Am a boy, I don't want to become a boy, I'm already a boy inside, and I want my Body to become more male. To someone who doesn't know about trans issues, this can be very confusing. I think you know whether or not these people are just confused an ignorant, or if they are closeminded, an close hearted (is that a word? *sweats*) to you, and you should use that to decide if you wanna be around them anymore.

    If you go to Hell, you last eternally, but it is eternal suffering (I wouldn't consider this life). Living eternally is, like you said, a better quality of life. It's living eternally with God in Heaven.

    Could be egocentricity -- a child believes the world began the day he or she was born and that he will never die. Many people inwardly carry this belief into adulthood, along with other selfishness. Some even claim such beliefs are religious. On the other hand, I think that for more developed people, it could be just the natural curiosity that the prospect of discovery brings, or even the vision of true spirituality. I guess the distinguishing factor is one's humility about such beliefs and tolerance of others.

    Gautama Buddha: "Before I was enlightened, I went to the well and got water. After I was enlightened, I went to the well and got water."

    Jesus: "A rich man has as much chance to enter the kingdom of heaven as a camel has to go through the eye of a needle." I think that this, like much of Jesus' teachings was meant as a parable; with "rich" meaning rich in ideas as much as possessions.

    "Lasting eternity" is basically being immortal. It means you have a beginning, but no end. "Living eternally" means you have no beginning or end. God is the only one that is eternal. In the King James Bible, "for ever" and "everlasting" are actually huge mistranslations. We can become immortal, but not eternal. For more, see my article "For Ever - a Mistranslation" on my website below.

    God will resurrect us with heavenly bodies;

    Believers with bodies suited for eternity and heaven.

    Unbelievers with bodies suited for the eternal lake of fire.

    Both bodies will last for eternity. The Bible calls those who are thrown into the lake of fire, "the second death"

    Living eternally would mean, living with Jesus and enjoying married life with Him as His eternal bride for ever in heaven. A pleasant prospect indeed!

    Each day, is one day nearer.

    Self preservation for tomorrow compare to self suffiecent for today.

    Those that live eternally often do so with no thought for the eventual eternity we have in GOD, CHRIST and THE HOLY SPIRIT!

    it means if you don't generally enjoy (tolerate?) life you aren't saved. this is discussed in ecclesiastes where it speaks of the man who lives for a thousand years and has many possessions, but he can't enjoy them so a stillborn child is better off than he, because a stillborn child enters eternity and skips the suffering of this life. if you owned the whole universe, but on the inside you didn't feel good and happy, then it is useless to you. this is why health and happiness are valued before anything you could possibly own.

    The lake of fire is eternal, as is the Kingdom of God

    Luke 16:19-31 (King James Version)

    19There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

    20And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

    21And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

    22And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

    23And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

    24And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

    25But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

    26And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

    27Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

    28For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

    29Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

    30And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

    31And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
