Please clarify Bettafix instructions?
I have a betta in 8oz. of water. The Bettafix says, "9 drops for up to seven days, THEN change the water." Does this mean I add 9 drops each day to the EXISTING / SAME 8oz of water?

Yes.
Unfortionatly, your betta deserves so much more than 8 oz of water.
The BARE minimum requirements is a 3 gallons with both a heater and filter.
The preferred is 5 gallons with a heater and filter.
I have no clue why anyone would put their pet through the torture of living in such horrid conditions. Betta fish and all fish need space. You are not providing that. The bettafix probably won't be a necessity if you don't give your pet better living conditions.
