Who's Jazzed About F1 Coming Back to the US?
Starting in 2012, the USGP will be at a purpose built track near Austin, TX. For those who don't know Austin, it's not redneck. more like a Texas version of San Francisco. Very green and hilly area.
Hope they don't "Tilke" the track.

Personally I don't mind. Being from Great Britain I don't mind where it is, as long as the circuit is good.
However, I'm happy F1 is breaking back into the USA as it needs a much bigger fanbase over there. Austin seems like a perfect place for F1. A purpose built circuit right in the heart of America. (Right in the bottom-middle anyway)
I think it's an in-house job. Not a Tilke track.

not only am I glad it's back, I'm glad they're running it on a purpose-built track for F1. I still think they should've built the track in Flint, Michigan or Watts tho, that would add a little more danger aspect.

thatguy, the track at Ft Worth is an oval would'nt really work for F1. But hey I'm cool with F1 back in the US.
