What is your musical highlight of the day?

I was blasting Chick Habit by April March in my car and some guy yelled "Which way you going, left or right?" Last night I played Merle Haggard's "Mamma Tried" at an open mic night at a church. My mother was there. I thought she liked the song. But afterward she came up to me and said "I don't think you should be singing songs about men in prison. Play something more uplifting." Needless to say, I try to please my mother and she just criticizes whatever I do. The rest of the people in the audience liked it.

Hey I should try that singing along with whatever a girl's music is playing in her car when I am driving along on the open road. I don't drive a truck so suppose it would must seem creepy though if I do it when I am cruising along in my Hyundai Accent.

I love to just get home from school and put some Children of Bodom or Rhapsody of Fire on at a high volume on Spotify, or just sit at my drums and jam to some of my bands songs.

I heard the song "Cordava" by De Facto for the first time today. Very, very nice. Very, very wonderful. Very, very fulfilling.

What a nice way to end a night, huh? Finding a good song. Yeah, today was good.

That is awesome Tara! I was going through my emails and came across this link & article that my bf Sue sent me about Bob Weir. He does a lot of great work for charity esp. music programs for schools. This sounded like a great time and wish I was there.
