when you go to the store BE SURE to check the labels and nutrition facts! be sure its not high in fat or calories, low in carbs, and try to get things high in proteins and things with lots of vitamins and minerals. and make sure the thing your buying doesn't have High Fructose Corn Syrup in it.
here's a small list of some healthy foods that come to my mind :]
salmon
low-fat cottage cheese
unsalted almonds/mixed nuts
whole wheat crackers
whole grain bread
hummus
Non fat yogurt, Greek yogurt
vegetables (broccoli, bell peppers, cauliflower, zucchini, tomatoes, lettuce, spinach baby carrots, etc)
fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, pears, cranberries, watermelon, etc)
all I could think of at the moment, you get the idea!
just check the labels and don't get tempted to buy unnecessary products, like ice cream :x
