Car audio peoples opinions FI car audio or JL audio?
so which one is better. I have the 12 inch fi bl 1500 watts rms powere by a sundown amp. After hearing all these people saying jl is the best the 12w7 i kind of wana sell my fi bl and get jl, should i? or is fi the best subwoofers ever made?????/

I would not sale a Fi BL for a w7, just like what Matt said "stick what you have right now." Lol your getting more watts from BL then a w7 rated at 1000 watts RMS. Also, I wouldn't say Fi subs are the best ever made. RE audio, audioque as same as Fi audios, Orion HCCA - I have seen one of those blow the crap out of a 15 inch BTL, sundown audio nightshade those are nice, MMat Juggernaut, Clif design nuclear series or aftermath series, etc... all of those are nice and most of them have same amount of power all that, most time just what people in favorite to. For example I don't like treo audio, some of my friends love them, I told them they suck. They told me they are nice, LOL. I am more into MTX audio square subs and Orion HCCA's, and if I telling you Orion HCCA are the best subwoofers, you might say bullcrap Fi audio BTL are the best ones. - all about people's opinions. Also If you want to have the quality subwoofer go with 12" Ciwen-vage stocker rated at 1200 watts, that thing if you put in a sealed box your getting full sound quality. One of them is enough, one of my friend got 2 Of them running on 2 1000 watts Amp, I think is Alpine amp. it's the next level of quality of sound.
Source(s): a lot of people uses Kicker L7's, I am using 2 of MTX TS8512, because not a whole lot of people heard of MTX audio and they don't know anything about them. I could go with 2 12 inch Kicker L7 but I want try something new, don't listens to others try it on your own. I think MTX has better sound quality built in to it then the Kicker, I had owned CVX 2 12"- they kick hard, loud and bass that's all I can get MTX I am talking about sound quality. - Anonymous1 decade ago
The bl is just as good as the jl, plus the w7 has a pretty hefty price tag. If you wanna go big, get the Fi BTL. The JL wouldnt be able to touch it.

yeah i think jl audio is a bit pricey for the power it does. if ur rich go with jl audio if you want power and greatness go with FI BTL. audioque amplifier

I would say stick with what you got and you will be happy and jl are good sq subwoofer and just too pricey.
