where is drain hole in air conditioner(window ac)?

i was just cleaning my air conditioner and didnt find any hole for the water to drain out ..but i found a big hole at the rear under the ac..but it was closed using a rubber .....i need to know where do window ac have hole ....my ac tray has many tiny hole on side ....is that for draining water .....should i remove that hose..or is it to keep the water inside

    If this is a window mount a.c. unit there should be a way for the water to get away. The water is just condensation from the warm, moist air in the house you are cooling, therefore the amount of water produced will vary greatly with the environmental conditions. Just be sure the water is not seeping down on the inside of the house where it can cause damage to the wall finish
