21 weeks pregnant and swellening fast?

I don't want to scare you, but I had this, too. It turned out that I was dangerously close to developing pre-eclampsia. I had to go off work at around this time, midway through my pregnancy, and stay off my feet.

The swelling you're experiencing is a typical symptom. The light-headedness and dizziness you're describing is connected with elevated blood pressure, also a symptom of pre-eclampsia. Have you been seeing spots or bright flashes of light as well?

I would call your labour and delivery ward, they may get you to come in to have your blood pressure tested and check to see if you have proteins in your urine. At one point, they sent me home with a 24 hour urine sample jug that I had to use to collect my urine every time I peed. I had to store it in my fridge, it was nasty!

I did make it to 40 weeks, they induced me on my due date. I had crazy high blood pressure by that point and I had over 10lbs of fluid alone.

Well, you do get light headed and dizzy when you're pregnant but the swelling- you might have twins...idk
