Click and lock flooring; how easy is it really to install?
It sounded great at first until after more research I read something implying that the floor had to be perfectly level before it could be installed. I have my doubts as to whether or not my floor is completely level.
My questions are: 1. Is it essential the floor is 100% level? 2. If so, what can I use to compensate for any unlevel spots, and how hard is that to use? 3. Which click and lock product would you recommend overall for someone completely new to this? Wood, laminate, vinyl, bamboo, cork or ?? I would prefer to go with hardwood if it's practical. Thanks in advance.
