I had a maple I had to take down and had a round limb that I cut in 3/4 inch slices with the bark on and want to make clocks out of them. What should I use to finish them as I want them rough not sanded?

I was helping a lady from Church stain and seal her deck when I noticed who ever built it just put the 4x4s on top of the driveway, nothing is anchoring them to the concrete. My concern is that water will start to rot the bottom and if there is weight on top the 4x4s could slip out causing the deck to collapse, what can I do to prevent this, the deck is attached to the house on a ledger board and the 3 4x4s on the outside.

Neighbor has cast iron lead okem joints on a Y there is a 45 that is broke I know that I can heat up the lead and take out it and the okem and put in a push joint this is on a 2" horizontal to vertical off the stack she wants to pay me for it what should I charge?

The string trimmer will not turn the motor starts and revs up looks like the shaft turns inside the unit. I went to start it this morning and the string would not pull (broke string)pulled motor out of case and re wrapped string motor will turn over by by hand but not with pull string any help any one? And don't tell me to contact Ryobi I have left 4 messages at there support center. thanks in advance

my snowball bush is falling down on my A/C unit can I trim the canes back with out hurting the bush? The canes are at least 6 foot and do not have any foliage until at least 3 foot up from the ground, then have leaves and blooms, the heavy rain and wind and weight of the blooms pulled them down

service guy came out because of no cool air he pulled cover off the outside unit, and the wire was off of capacitor he replaced wire and capacitor now 5 hours latter air will not shut off any suggestions? guess I don't have to say this is on my house

I am making a small 23"by 32" welding table with a lower shelf I am going to use 1/2 inch plate for the top 1/4 for a shelf 24" below the top. would you think it would work if I built the legs from 2" gas pipe and floor flanges? would it be strong enough? I am not going to be doing a lot of heavy work on it but want to do light welding and put a small vice on it
