Partnership: Do I keep or dump partner?
My freind and I are soon to start up a salon business. He is lovely and one of my best freinds. It is an equal partnership but I find myself doing all the research, the work, contacting people etc and taking all the strees even though I have a busy n hectic part-time job.
He doesn't have a job, and when he says he'd do something, rarely actully does it or is too slow to complete the task, or has something going on in the family or just won't see the urgency of a situation or task in quistion.
This stresses me out even more, but if there is a crisis in the business he is there to support!
I have treid talkin to him but doesnt understand how stressed I get and can't see how little he does as compared. I may as well of done this by myself.
I have totally devoted my life to this and when I see him chillin out with his freinds when I am working hard, I get annoyed and upset.
What do I do? If i dump him as a partner, I lose him as a friend too and he really need this too as it was our draem.

You need to talk to him again and really explain in detail what is going on and why it's so stressful and annoying to you. Tell him that if he can't fix this then it's going to become your project alone, but you really don't want to lose him as a friend.

From what i understand that you have friend not helping you with salon business. and you don't want to keep him as partner so that you don't want to lose him. i hope what i say is right ?? For your case there is many ways you do from not losing him, but before that i want to believe of your self and understand that what you will do it will not keep anyone losing because after all this is a business need. i will give you some question maybe you can answer it and find the solution:
1- What was your dream? And why you chose this kind of business?
2- Am sure before you go and chose this kind of business you thought who could help you with this business?? And why you chose him?
3- Since you pick some body to help you with this business, are sure this kind of Proson you need for this job?
4- Have you try to use the good part from him ?
5- Have you tried to fi ger what other things he can do, with out letting all the work on you ?
