Why do I keep getting limited access/no connectivity?

my laptop only works when Im by my router,but I have reset my router and everthing but the samething keep happening...anybody that knows how to help plz.

    It's either your network or your laptop. Go to device manager and find your NIC. If there's an X or ? then uninstall it and reinstall it. Sometimes this helps.

    If it's the router itself, check both your modem and router and see if all the lights are on as they should. Send and Recieve should be blinking constantly on most modems. It depends on your type of modem though. Look in it's manual.

    Try to unplug both your modem and router for at least 3 minutes. Unhook everything from them. Plug them back in after. If it's still not working then you'll have to contact your ISP for further troubleshooting. They'll probably have you try and ping, etc.

    You may be moving farther than the transceiver in your laptop can communicate.
