Did you think the website "Vote For the Worse" had any effect on who won American Idol?
There's been talk that the best performer rarely wins because Vote For the Worst have thousands of people rapid dialing for the second best person to win.

I think there is a strong possibility that Vote For the Worst influences the outcome of American Idol. There was only a 1% difference in the amount of votes Lee and Crystal had, and from reading the VFTW website it is apparent a lot of people vote multiple times for the person the site picks each week. Why else would Tim Urban have stayed around as long as he did when other much better singers were voted off?

Vote for the Worst affects only the ridiculous "performers," like Sanjaya and Tim. Lee deserved to win, end of story.

Keep tween girls and their moms from voting - A female singer, no matter how talented, may never win "Idol" again as long as America's desperate housewives are mooning over shirtless himbos and their impressionable daughters are block-texting for pinup-ready pretty-boys.
Just confiscate their cell phones every Tuesday night between February and May. Problem solved.
